Cavalor Demeter placed within the top five of two CCI3*'s this year and competed for the Netherlands at the European Championships. The horse looked to be Raf's top candidate to compete at the London Olympic games. As a result of the sale, the Netherlands loses one of its best eventing horses and perhaps also a ticket for the Olympic Games 2012. Raf Kooremans is still hoping to get his qualifications with two other horses: So Special and his new talent Chase the Moon, so as to compete at the Olympics in Londen next year. Cavalor Demeter is due to leave for the USA shortly, to be with Marilyn Little-Meridith. Marilyn explained that buying Demeter is about buying a really nice talented young horse. When Raf asked Marilyn what she liked about Demeter, he was expecting an explanation about Demeter's jump, speed, and movement.
