Montreal, Canada - April 6, 2010 - Cavalor, Inc. is excited to announce that it has recently joined forces with Olympian and Grand Prix show jumping rider Lauren Hough. Cavalor, whose complete line of supplements, care, and feed products address the diverse needs and requirements of top sport horses and breeding stables, prides itself on its support of many of the world's top equestrian athletes and is excited to add Hough to that list. "We are thrilled to add Lauren to our list of sponsored riders," said Philippe Collard, President of Cavalor, Inc. "She is a shining example of just how much a rider can accomplish when they set their mind to it." The list of Lauren Hough's accomplishments in the equestrian sport of show jumping exceeds those of many nearly twice her age. She competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games at the age of 22. She was also the second alternate for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. In both 2001 and 2002, Hough won the Grand Prix of New York at the National Horse Show in Madison Square Garden. She also rode for the U.S. in the Selection Trials for the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with a broken collarbone. Her injury was overcome by her determination, and not only did she make the Team, but she also helped the U.S. to a Team Gold Medal. In addition, Hough has been a member of three successful U.S. teams competing in the Samsung Super League. Her involvement helped lead the U.S. to a fourth place finish in 2004, a first place finish in 2005, and a second place finish in 2006. She went on to compete in the 2007 Pan American Games, where she helped the U.S. Team to a Bronze Medal finish. In May of 2009, Hough helped the U.S. win the second leg of the Meydan FEI Nations Cup in Rome, Italy. Riding is in Hough's blood; she is the daughter of nationally known show jumping trainer Linda Hough and 1952 Olympic Three‐Day Event rider Champ Hough. "I am thrilled to be joining the Cavalor team," said Hough. "I have always believed that providing my horses with the highest quality feed and care products has helped contribute to their, and my, success. Cavalor represents the best in the business, and I am proud to align myself with them and their image." Riders who depend on Cavalor products to feed and care for their world‐class horses include three‐time Olympic individual gold medalist and nine‐time Dressage World Cup Champion Anky Van Grunsven of The Netherlands; FEI World Cup Dressage Champion and three‐time Olympic veteran Steffen Peters of the U.S.; nine‐time Olympic veteran and two‐time show jumping World Cup Champion Ian Millar of Canada; four‐time Olympic show jumping veteran Ludo Phillipaerts of Belgium; Olympic show jumping individual gold medalist Eric Lamaze of Canada; show jumping World Champion Jos Lansink of Belgium, and top show jumping rider and the first "Cavalor Young Champion," Hillary Dobbs of the U.S..
